How it works

Your request goes straight to Mohs Pros. There's no directory, no bidding and no middleman: one company, routing your request by where your lab is.

  1. Send a request. Practice, location, what you need, your Mohs surgery days and when you'd like to start. It's free and doesn't commit you to anything.
  2. Mohs Pros routes it by state. The state your lab is in decides who picks it up; see the table below.
  3. A Mohs Pros team member follows up. By phone or email, to understand your surgery days, typical cases, current setup and timing.
  4. You get a custom quote. Every lab is different, so Mohs Pros doesn't publish rates. You decide whether to go ahead.
  5. Coverage starts. On the start date you agree with Mohs Pros.

Routing by territory

Where your lab isWhat happens
CaliforniaGoes to the Mohs Pros team that schedules local techs. Lab setup, CLIA support and billing are handled the same way.
Any other stateMohs Pros checks whether a travel tech can cover your lab. If one can't, your practice goes on the waitlist for your state. Lab setup, CLIA and billing requests from other states are reviewed case by case.

Why a waitlist?

Mohs Pros opens a state for local service only once it has both trained techs and Mohs labs ready there. Every waitlist request shows where labs need help, so it counts toward opening your state. When we can help in your area, we contact you.

What to have ready

  • Which days your surgeons operate, and roughly how many cases a day
  • Whether you have a tech now, need one, or are starting a new lab
  • The date you'd like coverage to start, or the dates you need covered
